Atlanta Shop Hop

Second stop was Red Hen Fabrics.  They were "Batty for Batiks".

Check out the twister quilts.  As always, if you make the larger quilt,  there are scraps that you can make into a miniature.

How do you like these yo yos.  They are 1 1/2 inch circles.  Now there is a challenge for me!

This is Red Hen Fabrics quilt.  Again we got the pattern and goodies for it.
Don't you love this quilt with the embroidered baskets.  This was at Tiny Stitches, our third stop.

Here we are.  Their theme was "Through the Eyes of a Child" .

Notice the game boards in the quilt behind the queen.

More inspiration.
At Georgia Sewing and Quilting, Inc. their theme was "Under Construction".

Notice the barn quilt blocks on the front and side of the shop.

Here is their fun quilt.

These were all the shops we got to on our first day out.  More to come on Saturday.  You  need to get up early top start this hop.  The miles for this shop  hop is long.    Sandy was trying out a new "Garmin" gps system.  It did a great job of getting us from one shop to another. It is always great to see shops in other areas, as each is unique in its choice of fabric.  With the exception of Little Quilts, you do not see much reproduction fabric in the Atlanta area.  It also give you a sense of how many fabric companies there are.  So many wonderful choices.
More tomorrow.
Mary
