Amy Bradley

Monday, at Prairie Star Quilters Guild, we had Amy Bradley as  an instructor and  lecturer. What a great time we had. We  only had 9 ladies in the class.  It was so much fun.  She had lots of great information.

This is a closeup of my project.  I got lucky, as there were so few in the class.  For some  reason  I had a hard time with the concept of fusing all these pieces.  She prints her patterns so all the pieces are already reversed for you.  For some reason I just could not reason which side the fusing happened and then putting it to the wrong side of the fabric.
I am a visual person. Reading instructions does not always makes sense to me.

Here is one of the patterns being worked on.

Love the painter.

Here is the whole picture of what I was working on.  I have a lot of machine, blanket stitching to work on.

Here is one of Amy's patterns.  She has a wonderful sense of humor.

Amy   Click on her name, any you will go directly to her website.

Don't you just love the whimsy in this patterns?

Here is another one being worked on.  Halloween is a favorite  subject.
Okay, you bloggers in the "It's for the Birds" hop coming up in May.  Look what Amy has as a pattern!!

I have been a fan of Amy's for a long time.  I wore my "Proud to be a Quilter" t-shirt  to class and guild meeting.
What a great day!

Have a great rest of the week. Happy Easter, Happy Spring!
I hope there is a lot of sunshine in your days. Today was a beautiful day. Got up to 56 degrees!  Spring is coming.

Wow! That looks like fun. I love your project and all the others are very cool too. I'm glad you had such a good time. Don't feel bad, I can never remember which side of the fusible interfacing is NOT supposed to touch the iron. Seems like I have to learn that lesson over again and again - I'm a very slow learner 8)

Happy Easter,
Susan in Texas

Ahhh Mary great pics....I was speaking to AMY yesterday, she said she had so much fun being with all of you and especially enjoyed your company. She was the very first designer I made contact with when I started blogging and quilting...I will always enjoy her lovely outlook on life and her genuine affection for all things fun. I adore your piece...YOU are without a doubt the best for choosing great fabrics....That is the hardest thing for me....I am working on a DIVA this coming week.... ( I need to go to bed now...) yep it was me who had to keep writing this...lol
