Tammy Bag Blog Hop

Today is the start of the Tammy Bag Hop.  Madame Samm was kind enough to provide the fun pattern for us to use.  We were to make a bag that would show our own style.

For me it was easy!  The first bag I made,  I wanted to show what I like to do. I used several of my completed flowers to decorate the outside of my bag.  There are pockets on the outside for accessories.  I can keep my scissors handy along with a spool of thread.

There are pockets on the inside as well to keep my things organized.

The other side of the bag, again has two pockets.  I can slide my completed flowers in them.

Look at all the things I can keep in there ready to be worked on..  I have my little baggies  with squares, for sewing to  my paper hexagons., I have scissors, a needle book with spare needles and pins, wax for my thread, three for sewing the hexagons together, thread for putting the fabric on the paper pieces, and spare change.  You never know when you might like a drink while you are out and about.

This second bag also holds a project.  This time it is a wool applique  pincushion. I embellished this one with old  pink ruffling and old frosted buttons.

It is lined with pink strips and again can hold all I need to work on  the wool applique.

Everything fits like a glove for my wool pincushion to work on.

My last one is made of fabric that is complimentary to the sewing fabric on the one above.   Again there are pockets on the outside to hold necessities, like thread and scissors.

There is not as many things in this one, as I am working a tiny project.
I am making mini yo yos for a teeny tiny quilt.

This is some of the hexagon flowers I am working on.

Here they are, three project bags ready to pickup when I am on the go.

You had me oh-ing and ah-ing at the first bag---with the hexies and rick rack. Very vintage look, I would say. Then look at you---two more lovelies! Well done, Mary.
