Rush Hour

Good Morning, I hope everyone is ready for the "Rush Hour" hop.
I would like to thank Mdm Samm of Sewwequilt.com and Carol of Just Let Me Quilt.  They have once again let us to stretch our creativity.
I was fortunate to acquire a fat quarter pack of "Rush Hour: by Studio E.  What a fun line of fabric.
I decided to come up with my own idea for a quilt. I did add Kona Red for my accent.

Here is my quilt.  I am loving how it turned out.  The lady that longarms for me, Wendy Yates, of Plainfield, used a simple design for the quilting.

Here is the back.  I still had some pieces leftover, so decided to incorporate it in the backing.
This fabric screams, commuter.  I found two pieces of "newspaper" fabric in my stash to round it out.

The top one is "The Kitty Chronicle".  There are stories about kitties and some very funny pictures.

The bottom one is an old time newspaper. There are stores about a little bit of everything.
If you wanted you could always cuddle up with the back showing, and read yourself to sleep.

I thought too about a Tammy Bag, to take with you, while you commute, for doing some handwork.
It has pockets on both sides, and on the inside.

I am all set for my "Rush Hour", are you?
I did enjoy making this quilt and Tammy Bag.  Thank you again, Mdm, Samm and Carol. Both of you are so inspiring.

So, quilters, don't forget to cheer my team mates today, and every day of the hop.
A few kind words do go a long way.
Here is the lineup for the rest of the hop.
