Labor Day weekend

Superman came to visit and pickup his new pillowcases.
Since the beginning of last week I finished up about 40 pillowcases.  Some were partially done and others were cut, but not sewn.  They are done!  That took 2 piles of fabric off my sewing room floor.  It felt so good to get that off my to do list.

Charlie was good enough to inspect all of my sewing this weekend.  He loves to be in the sewing room.  Usually he is sitting on my cutting table by the television. It is his new found sleeping spot.

One of the other projects I got done is this little sewing set.  It is a pattern by "Hatched and Patched",  Petite Sewing Kit.
It came with the two embroidery pieces to be done.  I love to work on small things that I can take along with me. I sat at the hospital on Thursday while Ron had cataract surgery. I think they came out pretty good!

We had storms go though on Sunday night.  There was a tornado reported way south of us..As far as I know, no real damage.  This was the sky we saw after the storm.

It was a beautiful sky.  It cooled off some of the hot and humid weather we had been having.
I also was able to prep several projects for pick up and go.  I always like to have things ready to work on. I really do enjoy handwork.
Have a great week.
Don't forget, there is still time to sign up for the "Let Twist to the 60's".

Great quilts and projects.

Actually I would like to sign up for "Lets twist to the 60s" batik blog hop if the spot is still available.

Do I have to be born in 60s to participate ;)?
