More of the quilt show in Paducah

When we went to dinner that first evening, the restaurant was a bit dark, or we are getting older.  Several of us had mini flashlights how to read the menu's.

Of course, I could not resist taking a picture of my favorite " Pink Bird".

We stopped by Caryl Bryer Fallert-Gentry's studio.  This is one of her quilts.
She will be leaving Paducah to start a new studio with her husband on the west coast.
Caryl at one time had a home and studio not far from where I live, here in Oswego.

Love those Dogwood's.

At the reception on Tuesday evening, this was the display of all the winners through the years.

Here is Pat Septh, and Sue Nichels receiving their award.

They did have the quilts for the three major awards to show us at the awards ceremony.

Back at Caryl Bryer Fallert-Gentry's studio in Paducah, She had had a one quilter showing last year, "30 Quilts for 30 Years".  This is 3 of them.  She does a magnificent job with her quilts.  Even my husband likes them.  I think it is the colors she uses the draws him to them.

More flowers, these were miniature bearded iris.  Love that color.

I will do one more day of quilts from the show.
The workmanship and artistic ability is amazing.
