Have you not been impressed with all the great Kona inspired projects? The WOW factor for creativity has been awesome. So many beautiful ideas have been executed.
Don't forget Monday starts another great week, with more amazing quilters.
I have been saying I did get most of the little quilts finished that I started on my mini sew in when Ron was gone in December.
 |
| I made a table topper for my sister for Christmas. This was another kit I had picked up on one of our mini trips. She loves wine, so thought this was fitting. |
 |
Finished up a couple more mug rugs. I had sent my sister the tea cozy that is made using the fabric on the rug in the background. Now she has a cute rug to place her tea cup. My friend Lyn is a U of I alumni and fan, so this will be for her. |
 |
| Finished up this cute Halloween, needlework. |
 |
| I spend one evening embroidering and adding the buttons on the outer edge of this little quilt. |
 |
| In finishing this one I added buttons to the centers of this little quilt, that was not part of the pattern. I have so many neat old buttons and decided to use some of them. |
 |
| One of the quilt shops in the area had these cute mini tumbler quilts. They designed them and die cut them into kits. I have been told there will be a fourth one for spring. I have one hanger so the quilts can be changed for each season. Can't wait to see the spring one. |
 |
| This is the last one I got finished. It was a tumbler kit. I love those little tumblers. |

Charlie is watching over everything for me.
I have been doing a lot more sewing. My Kona project is done, to be shown on the 16th. I have my project done, also, for "She who Sews" in the beginning of February, and working on Hugs and Kisses. I started Bonnie Hunters mystery quilt, but have a long way to go on that one. I did take her advice, and start on each of the clues. I would like to get Jamestown Landing completed before going on to the next one. I have been working on some iris folding, for cards, and embroidery. There is always something to play with. Have a great weekend. Spring is coming! |

I love your little tumbler quilts. Which quilt shop did you get them from? Charlie is a beautiful cat.
You are amazing with all you are getting completed. Great projects. I am looking forward to your Kona and She Who Sews hops. Happy New Year and Creative Blessings...
you have achieved a lot this past week. Seeing your tumbler quilt reminds me I have the die cutter for tumblers, think the sizzix purchase was a expense wasted really as I never use it.
You have been busy, I love your work. Great projects
Love from Sweden
