Easy Street finally!

Here it is, Easy Street.  It is finally bound.  I love how it turned out. I did use Bonnie Hunter's color scheme, which just so happens to be the colors my husband loves.

It is a big quilt once I put the 3 borders on it.

Charlie gave it his seal of approval.

When I visited my friend Sandy in Atlanta back in March, we bought  this fabric . The Atlanta shop hop has a fabric that all the shops use for the theme of the hop.  Love the sewing theme. Sandy and I each purchased this pattern in 2 sizes for the iron caddy.  We got all the materials needed and  each cut out the pattern.

Mine fits the Rowenta iron, Sandy cut out for the small one.  Now we each have the measurements for the two sizes.  Mine sat unsewn for several months.  This too, is finally done.  YEA!!! Now my iron is ready for the next retreat.

I had found these 3 little embroidery kits in my stash. One evening got them out and did all the embroidery.  The small chicken is made into a pin. The large chicken is framed with fabric, but I haven't decided how I will finish it out.  The bunny, well I am not sure what I will do with it either.  Maybe a coin purse will get made using the embroidery. All turned out cute.

I am going to work on the binding of a couple of things this evening.
Have a great week.

Beautiful...and always good to have the "kitty cat seal of approval". I have to satisfy 3 cats at my house, but they are all pretty easy critics :-) As long as it is soft and warm and they get to curl up on it, they approve!
