My turn "It's for the Birds"

This hop got me to pull out most of my "Bird" themed patterns.  As you read through this post, can you tell I like  flamingos??  These first 2 are portraits of "Pinky", and are paper pieced and mini's.  The one on left is 6 x 7, and one on right is 5 1/2 x 6.  Our model is "Tiki" from the TY modeling agency.

My next flamingo is "Fandango"and is  also paper pieced and is 9 x 9.   This model is the ever popular "Sophia" from the Bestever modeling agency.

This is "Frosty the Penguine" who measures in at  6 1/2 x 8 1/2, and again is paper pieced.  His  model forgot to show up!

"Hoot" the owl is also paper pieced and is 9 1/2 x 8 1/2. Unfortunately, his model forgot to show up  as well!

Here we have "Fandango" again in her Florida setting that is  21 x 12  and again paper pieced.  She wanted to show off what it is like to live in Paradise.

Not to be out done, is our "Blue Bird of Happiness"  This table topper is 37 inches square. It is machine pieced with neutral fabrics in the background and bordered with a navy and white gingham.  The blue birds are appliqued using felt.
We have a dove nesting in the blue spruce in our back yard. She wanted to put in an appearance as well.

So here they are, my "Bird" creations. I ran out of time.  This is not even all of them.  I hope as the  hop goes on I can show you a few other things that are "bird" creations.

Here is a close up of th "Blue Bird of Happiness".

Here is today's schedule.
Tuesday, May 7

Please give them a warm welcome and cheer them on!

Birds of a feather, we have flocked together!
