Sewing MoJo

Charlie decided he needed to be in the photos  I was trying to take!

Maybe he is protective of the quilt??

No, just a place to lounge!

Sunday afternoon I decided I needed to start sewing again.  Except for working on my Bonnie Hunter, Easy Street,, I have not done any sewing since before Christmas.  I had started this little tumbler quilt in October, took it apart, and finally Sunday put it together.  It definitely needed concentration to get it sort of right.  Ah, the importance of cutting correctly!  It is together, Yea!!!!

Had some Dresden pieces left over from the Dare to Dresden,  blog hop, so decided a couple of mug rugs are in order.

Getting ready for the cruise.  Glued these applique pieces down for handwork.  This block is part of  a 12 block  quilt I bought through a shop hop in Atlanta, maybe 5 years ago. Have lots of these to still work on!

I made my block for the cruise.  It is a shell, clarification, cause Ron had to ask me what it was. He thought a basket!   The theme of the contest is "Have a shelly good time". It was not easy to find a shell pattern!

During the Superbowl game last night I made more hexie flowers.   These are half inch.  Not really sure what I am going to do with them, but keep making more.
It is a little start, there has been a lot of thing going on in and around our household and now its me time! Started to pack for our trip this morning.  Friday is when we fly to Florida.  Getting excited.

Have a great day, and happy sewing.
