Class Day

Tuesday started with Eggs Benedict!
Today was the start of our  mystery quilt, "Ocean Star Chain"  Here we are working along.  We each had a sewing machine.  All new Bernina's were at our disposal.

We could purchase a kit with  a dark or light background. There were two color ways, one with purples and blues, and the other one was green and rust with a beige background. Both were so pretty.
As the day  was coming to an end, Kimberly showed us what our quilt was going to look alike.  We all  worked hard and got about half of our quilt top completed.
At our  evening sewing we got to see what another class was working on.   This one was  "Seahorse  Sampler"  by Kathy McNeil.

Here is what Kathy's sampler looks like.   This looked like a great class, too. Karen Combs taught a  class called, "Silk Dyeing with Sharpie Markers", and Mary Sorensen's was "Handwork on Holiday".
A great day was had by all.
Mary
