Saturday Retreat

I had a lot of fun taking pictures and looking for stones, and sea glass down on the beach.  It was beautiful.

My work table.  I had decided to work on Halloween projects.

Joyce and Kathy made jelly roll quilts.  I think I need to try one of these.  Kathy, actually cut 2 1/2 inch stripes to make her 30's jelly roll quilt.

Sunset on the lake.
Pat was working on this quilt for herself.

Check out this penguin quilt.  It was adorable.

Okay, it was cold and windy by the lake. (Self Portrait)

Another view from the path going down to the beach.

Phyllis was working on the table runner.
Cathy got 3 of the borders appliqued, and attached to the quilt top.

Sandy was working on a Bonnie Hunter strings quilt.

Saturday night we got into a little beer and wine. The conversation got a us all laughing until we had tears running down our faces.  We did not solve the problems of the world, but did find we all shared a lot of the same things.  It was a wonderful weekend. I think we all had a lot of fun.  Amazing all that was accomplished.

One more day.
