St Kitts, Basseterre

Caribelle Batik on St Kitts.  They only gave me half an hour, but I still managed to do some damage, and was the last one on the bus. The place was awesome. They did have 2 yard pieces and half yard bundles.  I have to take a picture of them, then will share.

A work in progress.  The place was incredible. They had all sorts of things made with their batiks, shirts, shorts, scarves, bags, you name it.  I did end up with one piece of navy blue, and one bundle of navy blues, and one bundle of colors.  I bought a couple of scarves to use because of the wonderful colors.  It was so hard not to buy everythings.
Entrance to the port.

They call this the circus, you can go round and round, and round. See the phone booth in the background?
The view were spectacular.  This is from Bayford's Mountain. The colors of the ocean is spectacular.  The Atlantic Ocean is on the left, the Carribean Sea on the right.

A rum tree!
Street vendors are everywhere.  They just set up their stands and sell.  You can find, food, clothing, souvenirs. A lot of times you could find things cheaper.  The American dollar was welcome eveywhere.  In fact, most times the US dollar is the first price you see.

Next stop is St. Vincent
