St Croix

We visited the Cruzan Rum Distillary.  There is a rum punch in the islands that is so good.
A vat of rum in the making.
Botanic Gardens.  They have one area that is all cactus.
This is actually a bridge.
This botanic gardens is actually built on an old plantation. Only part of some of the building remain. Vegetation has taken over a lot of the old buildings.
It ia hot and dry on the island.  The flowers flurish and are so beautiful.  I am trying to type this on my laptop, as that is where I loaded all my pictures. I am having a problem doing this.  I would like to share more of our trip, but it will have to wait until tomorrow.
Have a great evening.

Thanks for sharing, Mary. Looks like you had a great time!

I heard the trees in the northern midwest were already flowering. We have snow this morning in Vermont, so I'm glad ours haven't gotten to that stage yet.
