I'm Back and Who Knew!!

Who knew I would come home to Spring.  I could not believe
what we were hearing about all the records that were broken and set in Chicago, while we were gone. I still cannot get over seeing everything in bloom.
Dad and I at Midway Airport, Chicago.
First stop was St Criox, United States Virgin Islands. While we were here I could still call home and get the update on the weather.
We visited the Whim Plantation, this I think was the oldest one on the island.  It was very interesting to see the property. Sugar Cane was the biggest industry.
This is the plantation house. There were a lot of the furnishings of the era on display.

Dad had a bit of a harder time on this trip.  Walking with his walker even became hard.  He has arthritis in his right hip.  He was willing to give a couple of the excursions a try.

St Criox was the beginning of a 6 day, 6 island tour.  Everyday we were going to have new adventures.
Thank you for stopping by.  I really missed keeping up with the blogs I like to follow, plus I missed being able to write here.  I did keep a journal, handwritten, of my adventures.  I am always afraid I will forget things.
Have a great evening.
