| Good Morning quilters and stitchers. I chose the winter design from Brooke and and to continue the elegant theme. I selected a black snowflake and swirly design fabric for the body of the Tammy Bag and a cream and gold swirl for the interior. The other fabrics will add some cool color to the bag. The cross stitch fabric is a 28 count Jobelan in a wintry blue. I'm using Cori's Spring Pretty Pinny pattern and want to add more snowflake fabrics (or at least 1) for the buttons. I want to carry the color red to the back of the pinny. The background for the applique is a Kona pastel blue. I have only started to do the cross stitch, since I am most comfortable with that. I couldn't believe that I actually had to buy some floss colors. I thought I had them all from my years of stitching samples for a local shop. I have read the pattern directions for the bag and the pinny, which seem to be very well written. I'm looking forward to see what the final outcome is and to see all the other beautiful bags all the other stitcher's have made. Thank you for letting me be part of this hop. Leslie Schmidt

Thanks for all the kind words. I feel as though I am cheating, since I don't blog. But I am so glad to be a part of this hop. I've never done this before and didn't know the protocol, so I'm sorry I neglected to thank Mary and Mdm Samm, Cori and Brooke for their wonderful designs and generous welcome. I appreciate all their help and all the terrific bloggers who have shared their creativity and inventiveness.
