She said a lady in Chicago made this wonderful quilt. It was at least double bed size. It too, is made using 1/2 inch hexagons.
See the way this brown flower looks? Chris called it a dog bone hexagon. It looks like one!
These mini quilts were made using 1/4 inch hexagons.
How about the stars. This is a mini quilt. Can you imagine working with these tiny pieces.
My friend Jo, this one is for you. These are 1/2 inch applecore paper pieces.
I think this one was inch or inch and a half.
One inch tumblers. (I am on a tumbler kick now, and this one was wonderful.)
Check out the teeny tiny rick rack in the binding.
Here is my hand against the top so that you could get a perspective of how small these are. It was a great evening. Chris had packages of Paper Pieces for sale. She has co-authored two books, "Piecing It All Together", and "All Dolled UP" with JoAnne Louis. Inspiration was all around. Have a great week. Don't forget "Holiday Lane Blog Hop" starts on Wednesday. You can check out the link on my sidebar. My day is Thursday. My project is done! Yea for me. Now to get if photographed. I can't wait to show it off. Happy Sewing Mary
