| This is a darling "Lil Twister" quilt I received last week from my blogging friend Helen. We were trading some ideas, and this cute quilt showed up in my mail. It is made with Australian fabric. I absolutely love it. Helen is in need of support, as her husband and son, each have health issues. I am sending my thoughts and prayers to her. |
| This quilt, "Cottage Garden Path" was an online pattern of the month back in 2006. It is published by Jeanne Rae Crafts. She has this pattern for sale now. I had fun making the quilt. It was a project I had worked on, and when I moved got put away. One day while going through a box of projects, found it and to my amazement only needed to have the bottom row put on and borders added. This weekend, I finally got the binding sewed on. Another older project DONE!!! What a a great feeling that is. I did get some of my sewing space cleaned up. I am trying to get reorganized and rearranged. Now that I have had the sewing space for almost 5 years, I can see how I would like things to be. Time to start working on it. Hope everyone had a great weekend. I am off the the post office, and to see my Dad. Looks like a bit of a rainy and gloomy day. We can sure use the rain. Have a good week sewing or quilting or whatever your hearts desire is. Mary |

Oh, Mary - I love them all but my favorite is the "Farmer's Market"!!! Do I have to wait 5 years to get my sewing space cleaned up?? LOL!!! And enjoy your time with your Dad!!! Kris

Love your header. Looks like you've been busy. Wonderful projects. I admire that you complete them! I never seem to get anything finished.
Lovely projects, Mary! I remember the last one from several years ago. I saved the patterns, but didn't make it. The little twister quilt you received is very special.
It looks like you are very busy!! Wonderful projects and handmade presents are the best!!

Everything looks just lovely! I've been reading backwards through your blog and you have been very busy too!
We have no plans for Dad to move back into the house. Larry & his sister (in Oregon) agree that we're going to keep it for now and use it as our place to stay when we're in town, which is still practically every weekend. His sister was down at Easter with her whole family, and it was so lovely to not have to search for a restaurant for dinner. We'll be celebrating Mother's Day, Dad's birthday and Father's Day there in the upcoming weeks, and we're still working on cleaning out the closets and redecorating. There is still so much to do!
Take care,
Susan in Texas
Great projects and how neat to find that quilt that was so close to being finished!
