They either flew or drove to spend the weekend. We just had a informal dinner, so that we all could spend time visiting with each other. It had been five years since we all were together.
Here is everyone!! On Sunday my sisters kids and her grandchildren went into Chicago for the afternoon to visit the Field Museum. They came back for dinner at our house again. The kids had fun playing games, and playing outside in the snow. The grandchildren from Florida don't get the chance to see that much snow. The adults had a great time looking through old photographs that I had stored away. Everyone took a pile of photos home.
One Monday morning they started their travels home. Everyone made it safe and sound. Dad really did like the idea that they all made the trip to see him and celebrate his birthday. It was good to see everyone and to catch up on what is happening in their lives. My son and his girlfriend live in Chicago, so they have the opportunity to visit with Dad. Andy had not seen his cousins since my Mom passed away 5 years ago. It was a lot of fun. My sister did stay the rest of the week with us. She flew home to Maine on Saturday. It was good to see her and all of her family.

How joyous it is to get all of the family together for such a momentous occassion. Your Dad certainly looks wonderful for turning 90. A great achievement.
Hope there will be many more such events.

How great to have all your family together. Your Dad looks great for his age. Does he live with you? My 93 year old mother lives with me. She's like your dad, looks good, takes care of herself, and loves to laugh. Hope you have many more years with your Dad.
