Cruise

Here it is!! The Rotterdam, the ship Dad and I will be sailing on Wednesday September 22. We will be cruising to Hawaii with stops at Hilo, Lahaina, Nawiliwili, and Honolulu. We will be crossing the International Dateline and the Equator. Dad tells me there are big doings when we do. There is a stop at Fanning Island, Rarotonga, Cook Islands then on to the "South Pacific" We have stops at Raiatea, Bora Bora, Papeete, Tahita, Moorea, and Rangiroa in the Society Islands. One last stop at Nuku Hiva, Marquesas Islands. From there we will be sailing back to San Diego. Holland America is the cruise line. Dad is a 4 Star Mariner. He has over 400 days at sea. Can you tell he loves to sail?
We are on countdown. Dad is packed and ready to go. I am almost packed. Still have to make sure we have out medicine, him in particular. I have handwork, books and magazine ready to catchup on. We have a couple of shore excursions planned. We are looking forward to the trip.
I will say, I am going to miss my husband and son. The last time I was gone this long, I was in Florida taking care of Dad. I have 2 chips for my digital camera each 4 gigs? Oh, and the journal is ready, too. I like to keep track of what we do while gone.
Excitement is mounting!!!
