| I have been working on the Splendid Sampler. It is a slow go, but am progressing. When Pat Sloan posted her bonus block, Bumble Bee, I had to give it a try. The bag is fashioned after Sherri McConnell's tutorial to make this type. I love it, and it is so simple. You know I am the one that says if one is good, more is better. I actually made one, start to finish, and loved it, so decided to make 3 more. What a fun project, and a great way to use 2 inch squares in a variety of colors, and a few of my many buttons. First up is the all shades of green 30"s fabrics and multi colored buttons. |
| The second is 2 inch squares of 30's in assorted prints, and because she loves Flamingo's like I do I added one little Flamingo block. This one got an assortment of yellow buttons. |

Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment. Although I don't sew or quilt I admire the work you gals put into what you make and the bee panel is adorable.
Really cute bags and I love the bumble bees and the flower buttons!!
Your Bumble Bee block is adorable.
what a great way to see the bee bonus block, especially loving the green bag. Afraid I am way behind on the SS and have decided to make some of them 12"as I find small blocks too fiddly to do not sure though when I will tackle this project
