Our first snow.

Good Morning.
This morning this is what everyone is waking up to.
The storm has been in the works for a couple of day.
We are on the bottom edge and have only about 3 inches.
From here and North there are up  to 12 inches.
One of the quilt shops in Barrington, was having a Mrs. Clause day, has cancelled because
of the weather.  They always have a great day of fun projects to make up for
Christmas giving.

It looks like we have about 3 inches.

I filled all my feeders yesterday, just in case.
The birds have been enjoying the feeders even while is is still snowing.

I think it is a good day to sew.
I have some special things to be working on and finishing up.
I hope you have a great day.

Mary

It always looks so lovely when just fallen and before anyone has walked in it etc. We had a sprinkling overnight friday but it soon changed to rain and has now all gone

The first snowfall is always so magical. I love the quietness it brings with it...and even though things get cancelled, it is such a treat to enjoy it's beauty. I always get a little sentimental with the first real snowfall as I realize the year is coming to an end. What a great way to spend your day stitching away. Wishing you much joy Mary.
