Good Morning. This morning this is what everyone is waking up to. The storm has been in the works for a couple of day. We are on the bottom edge and have only about 3 inches. From here and North there are up to 12 inches. One of the quilt shops in Barrington, was having a Mrs. Clause day, has cancelled because of the weather. They always have a great day of fun projects to make up for Christmas giving. |

The first snows are always so pretty.
It always looks so lovely when just fallen and before anyone has walked in it etc. We had a sprinkling overnight friday but it soon changed to rain and has now all gone
Everyone seems to be getting their first snow on the same day!! I hate that stuff. I think we got about 6 inches. Hope it melts fast!!

The first snowfall is always so magical. I love the quietness it brings with it...and even though things get cancelled, it is such a treat to enjoy it's beauty. I always get a little sentimental with the first real snowfall as I realize the year is coming to an end. What a great way to spend your day stitching away. Wishing you much joy Mary.
