First up was Susie's entry.
Glenda's entry was having artist growing pains. She decided to add applique to the lower corner that morning.
Pat made this adorable minature. She used the concept of the Disappearing 9 patch for her entry. The back side of the quilt was also made up of the same tiny blocks. Pat was one of the winner's.
Donna made this cute Welcome banner.
Jo used her 4 patchs to surround this great paper pieced block.
Jinnie made wonderful stars. She was a winner, also.
Jan M. put her blocks on point and used this wonderful cheddar fabric to surround them.
Mary R. used her 4 patches. plus a few more to make this wonderful quilt.
Jan H put hers together like an Irish Chain. She did fancy quilting in her solid colored blocks.

Missed everyone at sew-in today. I was the only one that showed up. The quilts are really nice. Nice to see the ladies I know, too.
Hi Mary,
Well I think all those quilt creations deserve a prize I loved every one of them. What a great challenge I think I might suggest that to my little quilting group.
Thanks for sharing your photos.
(((HUGS))) Roz.
Hi Mary
Thank you for these photos. All the quilts are beautiful. This challenge is a good idea. What do you think about such a challenge between you and me for next year ? Each month we could sew several nine-patches and send them...
Happy quilting
Fabulous quilts, I love all the different interpretations.
The old four patch is very versatile.
Oh, Mary - what wonderful quilts and what a fun exchange!! That would have been really hard to choose the two winners!! I loved them all with your leader Sandy's quilt as my fav!! Kris
Oh yes, they are all winners!!
Such variety. The quilt with the cheddar really stands out!
Wonderful to see how everyone interpreted the challenge into their own lovely quilt.
