Corn and Keeping busy

You know how they always say corn should be "Knee high by the 4th of July"? Well this year we have tasseled corn by the 4th of July!! I have seen the cobs already on the stalks. Hope the sweet corn is doing just as well! It has been a fabulous growing season so far.

Have been sewing, but nothing completed. Working on string blocks out of scraps. Have 6 of jelly roll blocks done of the 10. Will work on them again Thursday. Have over 180 Klosjes done now. Had to prepare more fabric last evening for the hand piecing. Have cut 2 inch squares for 9 patch blocks to be made. Have 9 more Farmers Wife blocks to get done this month. Worked on my embroidery on Christmas ornaments. Trying to organize my sewing room. Having bee at my house next Wednesday and need to get things cleaned up!! I am keeping busy.
